The Alarm are a Welsh alternative rock/new wave band that formed in Rhyl, Wales, in 1981. With their energetic and anthemic sound, they quickly gained a loyal following and became one of the most influential bands of their time.

The Twenty First Century Recording Company, also known as "21st Century Recording Company" and "Twenty First Century Recording Company", was founded in 1994 by The Alarm lead singer and songwriter Mike Peters. It was established as a platform for Peters and the band to express their creativity beyond the confines of traditional record labels.

The label's inaugural release was a companion piece to Mike's solo album 'Breathe'. Since then, Twenty First Century Recording has evolved into the official home for all the artistic endeavors of Mike Peters and The Alarm in the modern era.

Remastered from the original master tapes under the supervision of singer Mike Peters with extensive new sleeve notes featuring contributions from original band members. Package includes original art inside and unseen photographs. 2CD has exclusive tracks, Shout To The Devil, Blaze Of Glory, The Deceiver, Howling Wind, Sixty Eight Guns [Original Drum Take Version], Howling Wind [Acoustic Vrsion] and The Chant Has Just Begun [Long Version] while the LP has exclusive US Radio Versions of Shout To The Devil, Blaze Of Glory, The Deceiver and Howling Wind.
