Taking their name from the classic tune "The Black Angel's Death Song," The Black Angels are a heavy-duty psychedelic rock band hailing from Austin, Texas. Influenced by the likes of The Velvet Underground, 13th Floor Elevators, and early Rolling Stones, their music is characterized by a primitive beat and an echoing spirit of the past. With genres ranging from Psychedelic Rock to Neo-Psychedelia and Garage Rock, The Black Angels bring a unique sound to the music scene.

The Reverberation Appreciation Society is a record label and event producer known for their annual psychedelic music festivals, including Levitation Austin (formerly Austin Psych Fest), Levitation France, Levitation Chicago, and Levitation Vancouver. The Black Angels debut a live set and film spanning their career recorded live at Carson Creek Ranch in Austin, Texas. Never released physically and only streamed for one weekend, this double LP + DVD is the ultimate live release from the seminal psych rock outfit. "We decided to return to Carson Creek Ranch's River Stage, the former site of Levitation to bring it all back home. The setting lent itself well to the hot and humid Vietnam river delta feel we were trying to capture.
