Cherry Red is a British label that was founded by Iain McNay in 1978. Also known as Cherry Red Records, this label has become associated with the company Music and Media Group. With the label code LC 6730, Cherry Red has made a name for itself in the music industry. It is important to note that this label should not be confused with the US label of the same name.

Cherry Red compilation of this 80's goth band who had a reputation for lush and atmospheric sounds that separated them from the rest of the gothic scene at the time. None of these tracks have appeared on CD before including their highly collectable self released 1982 debut album Seduction. Additional tracks were drawn from their critically acclaimed 12 inch singles, 'Somewhere / Hide' and Woman's Own, their first single Clock and the classics These Frayed Eyes and The Seduction. The CD features the original 'Seduction' LP cover art along with other sleeves from their early period with notes by keyboardist, Lyndon Scarfe and a complete discography.
