They officially started with the release of "Meet The Residents" in 1974, although they had been collaborating since 1969 or earlier. Known for their concept albums, multimedia projects, and enigmatic nature, the band has worked with numerous guest stars and maintains a highly secretive identity. Their name was inspired by a rejection letter from Warner Bros. Records that simply addressed them as "Residents."</p>

<p>New Ralph is a reincarnation of the iconic record label, Ralph Records. Established in 2017, this label made its debut with the highly acclaimed compilation album *New Ralph Compilation*. The following year, New Ralph embarked on an exciting reissue series, reintroducing timeless classics from their extensive catalog. With a rich history and a commitment to preserving the legacy of Ralph Records, New Ralph continues to be at the forefront of delivering exceptional music to fans worldwide.</p>

To celebrate their 50th Anniversary, The Residents undertook a secret, one-off performance in their hometown of San Francisco. Joined on stage by a hand-picked cast of guest artists, the group and their friends performed a dream setlist of classics from the band’s back catalogue, including songs never performed live before.
