Armin van Buuren

Armin van Buuren is a Dutch record producer and DJ, born on December 25, 1976 in Leiden, South Holland. He started his music career at the age of 14, producing House music before transitioning to Trance. Armin gained recognition for his early releases such as "Blue Fear," "Touch Me," and "Communication," as well as his remixes for various artists and groups.

In 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2012, Armin was ranked #1 in DJ Mag's Top 100 poll, setting a new record. Prior to becoming a DJ, he worked as a glass collector at Club Nexus while studying law at Leiden University. As his musical career took off, he put his law degree on hold but eventually returned to graduate in 2003.
