Crystal Fighters

Crystal Fighters is a British/Spanish folktronica band that formed in London, UK in 2007. Inspired by Basque folk music and mythology, they took their name from an unfinished opera. The band established Zirkulo Records to release their debut album "Star Of Love," which gained international recognition through licensing deals with PIAS (Europe & Australia), KSR (Japan), and Atlantic (USA).

In 2014, Crystal Fighters faced a tragic loss when their drummer, Andrea Marongiu, passed away suddenly. He had joined the band in 2010 and contributed greatly to their unique sound.

With influences ranging from indie rock to electronic music, Crystal Fighters has carved out a distinct place within the music scene. Their captivating performances have earned them comparisons to artists such as Sidonie, Varry Brava, Miike Snow, and Metronomy.
