DJ Food is an artist project that was started by Matt Black and Jonathan More, who are also known as Coldcut. They collaborated with Patrick Carpenter (aka PC) and Kevin Foakes (Strictly Kev) to create their unique sound. Although Coldcut later withdrew from the project, Carpenter and Foakes continued to mix tracks for Warp's Blech sampler. DJ Food's music can be described as a fusion of various genres including funk, hip-hop, and electronic music.
