Matchbox Twenty

Matchbox Twenty is a rock band that was formed in Orlando, Florida. Originally known as [a1501057], they changed their name to Matchbox 20 in 1995 and later became Matchbox Twenty. After the release of their debut EP, they were offered a multi-record contract which most of the band members agreed to, except for Jay Stanley and John Goff. The current members include Robert Thomas on vocals/keys/guitar, Brian Yale on bass, Paul Doucette on drums/backing vocals/acoustic guitar, and Kyle Cook on lead guitar/vocals/banjo/mandolin. Former member Adam Gaynor played rhythm guitar/backing vocals from 1995-2004.
