Ryoji Ikeda

Ryoji Ikeda is a Japanese composer and sound artist who is known for his focus on ultrasonics, frequencies, and the essential characteristics of sound. Born in 1966 in Gifu, Japan, Ikeda currently resides and works in Paris. His work explores the relationship between sound and human perception, as well as the mathematical aspects of music, time, and space.
