With a career that's spanned the best part of two decades, Flowdan is one of the most easily recognisable characters in British urban music.
A certified cult figure, the East London MC has had a career which has run the entire timeline of grime. Flowdan came of prominence with garage collective Pay As You Go before becoming one of the founding members of grime pioneers Roll Deep.

Full Metal Jacket is the new album from one of the founding members of UK Grime crew, infamous Roll Deep MC Flowdan. Featuring heavy production from the likes of Plastician, Filthy Gears and Footsie and collaborations with Frisco and Irah, the first single “Welcome To London” was premiered by Mistajam (BBC 1Xtra) as his Jam Hot track.

"Full Metal Jacket is about survival after the ‘Disaster Piece,’" Flowdan explains, “I wanted to play with the metaphorical idea of people as soldiers in a post-‘Disaster Piece’ world who might need a full metal jacket (bullet) or two to survive”.

Flowdan’s Full Metal Jacket unites unforgettable characters in the grime scene today, linking both purists and its younger disciples. The legendary Plastician sits alongside newcomer Muszolini as Flowdan continues to work alongside key producers such as Footsie, Filthy Gears, Riddla and Maniac, bringing a hefty balance of body and weight to the Flowdan sound.
