<p>Happyness is a South London-based band formed by multi-instrumentalists Benji Compston, Jonny Allan, and Ash Cooper. With fluid roles within the band, Jonny Allan and Benji Compston took on lead vocals while Ash Cooper played drums. Drawing inspiration from American Indie Rock bands of the 1990s such as Pavement, Yo La Tengo, Sparklehorse, and Low, Happyness has crafted their own unique sound. In February 2019, Benji Compston left the band for health and personal reasons but continues to perform solo.</p>
