Nancy Sinatra is an American singer and actress, born on June 8, 1940. She gained popularity in the early 1960s and became known for her signature hit "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'". Her other notable recordings include "Sugar Town", "Somethin' Stupid" (a duet with her father), and the title song from the James Bond film You Only Live Twice. Collaborations with Lee Hazlewood, such as "Jackson", and her cover of Cher's "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" are also well-known. Nancy had a successful career in Europe and Japan before achieving transatlantic success with her iconic hit.

In addition to her music career, Nancy Sinatra had a brief acting career in the mid-60s. She starred alongside Elvis Presley in the movie Speedway and appeared with Peter Fonda in The Wild Angels. Throughout 1966 and 1967, she charted with 13 titles, all featuring Billy Strange as arranger and conductor. Her provocative yet good-natured style made her synonymous with go-go boots during that era.

Lee Hazlewood played a significant role in Nancy Sinatra's success as he wrote and produced most of her hits. They collaborated on several duets together, including the critically acclaimed "Some Velvet Morning". The 1966, million-selling debut LP introduced the sassy, blonde, go-go booted icon. Built around her Lee Hazlewood-penned hits, “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’” and “So Long, Babe,” the folk-rock era milestone album features songs by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Hazlewood and more. The catchy and jangly pop hooks performed by the famed Los Angeles session musicians, The Wrecking Crew, and Billy Strange’s innovative arrangements provided the perfect sound to help Nancy capture the attention of the world. The new reissue includes two bonus tracks recorded during the album sessions, the non-album b-side “The City Never Sleeps At Night” and the previously unreleased “For Some.”

Remastered from the original analog tapes by GRAMMY®-nominated engineer John Baldwin, the reissue is complemented by a new Q&amp;A interview with Nancy and GRAMMY®-nominated reissue co-producer Hunter Lea.

The CD edition is housed in a digipak and features a 28-page booklet, while each vinyl set is presented in an expanded gatefold jacket (featuring a 20-page booklet).
