Seether is a South African post-grunge/alternative metal band that was founded in 1999 in Pretoria under the name "Saron Gas". In 2002, they changed their name to Seether and have since become a prominent force in the rock music scene.

The band consists of *Shaun Morgan* on vocals and guitar, *Dale Stewart* on bass, *John Humphrey* on drums (since 2003), and *Corey Lowery* on guitar (since 2019). Together, they create a powerful sound that blends heavy riffs with emotional lyrics.

Influenced by bands like Crossfade, Shinedown, Staind, and Breaking Benjamin among others, Seether has developed their own unique style. Their music resonates with fans who appreciate raw emotion and hard-hitting melodies.

Produced by Shaun Morgan and engineered/mixed by Matt Hyde (Deftones, AFI), Seether’s album – Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum (which translates to “If you want peace, prepare for war”) – was recorded in Nashville over two months in December 2019 and January 2020. The album that spawned three #1 hit singles at Active Rock Radio has been expanded to include all 21 songs recorded during the SVPPB session along with the alternate version of “Wasteland.”
