<p>The Doors were an American psychedelic rock/blues rock band formed in July, 1965 in Los Angeles, CA. The band was founded by Ray Manzarek and Jim Morrison. Following the death of Jim Morrison in 1971, the remaining members released two more albums but experienced limited success. In April 1973, the band ultimately disbanded. The Doors were later inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame as performers in 1993.</p>

Aug 1970: With Jim's ongoing Miami obscenity trial casting a shadow over the band, The Doors flew to the Isle of Wight festival. They took the stage at 2AM and showed fans they still had the magic. “We played with a controlled fury and Jim was in fine vocal form," said Ray Manzarek. "He sang for all he was worth, but moved nary a muscle. Dionysus had been shackled.” Less than a year later, The Doors were no more. Here, for the very first time, is the last Doors concert ever filmed.
