Formidable Rhythm and Blues (also known as Rhythm And Blues Formidable) was a French series launched by Barclay in 1966. As a distributor for different labels such as Atlantic, Atco, Stax, and others, this label played a significant role in promoting the vibrant genre of rhythm and blues. Over the years, some of these remarkable compilations were reissued through WEA Filipacchi Music in their renowned series.
